Volvemos a los básicos otra semana más, pero antes de empezar quiero dejar muy claro que yo estoy totalmente en contra de este concepto del que vamos a hablar hoy y que describe este tipo de productos, estoy totalmente en contra con que los llamen anti-edad, porque para mi es un concepto o descripción errónea y que solo provoca frustración y puede crear falsas expectativas.
We will resume the basics for this week, but before starting with today´s matter I wanted to make clear that I am against the concept that are talking about today, not these products but the explanations or name their had been giving to them, they give a wrong idea, false expectations and create frustrations.
Para mi un producto anti-edad, anti-envejecimiento etc lo que significa es no envejecer ni aumentar la edad y para mi solo hay una situación en la que suceda eso y creo que nadie quiere estar en esa situación de no cumplir años y no seguir envejecimiento o lo que es lo mismo no seguir viviendo.
The products I am talking about is the anti-aging products, anti-aging for me means no aging and the only situation that I can think in not aging which means not growing up which the only means I can think is stop aging, so stop living.
Para mi la forma correcta de descripción sería más bien "productos para envejecer de la mejor manera" o "tener la mejor piel para tu edad", algo que explique que el concepto no es dejar de envejecer sino hacerlo de la mejor manera posible y consiguiendo la piel más bonita y sana de la edad que tengamos! eso si me parece que expresa lo que realmente todos queremos conseguir.
For me the correct naming of these products will be more like "products to age better" or "to get the best skin on your age", explaining a concept that is correct and doesn´t give false hopes or wrong concepts! that really express what we want for our skin or ourselves!
Ahora que he dejado mi opinión bien impresa vamos a por la descripción de este tipo de productos. Las cremas anti-edad son productos con base de hidratación, que tratan problemas específicos en la piel, como puede ser la flacidez, las arrugas, el fotoenvejecimiento, rojeces, despigmentación, elastosis solar, queratosis, mala textura de la piel etc, centrándose en uno o varios problemas, así que suele ser necesario que nos centremos en cuales son los problemas o la situación de nuestra piel y tratar estos.
Now that we have that concept correctly named let´s start talking about which one are these products. The anti-aging products are base on moisturizing concepts, and treat specific aging problems or stage of the skin, like sagging, wrinkles, photo-aging, redness, pigmentation, solar elastosis, keratoses, poor skin texture etc, concentrating in one or few problems at once, so you will need to focus in one or two problems and treat them.
