Una de las preguntas que más me suelen hacer como maquilladora profesional es, ¿Como me aplico el colorete para que me quede bien? y creo que ha llegado el momento que haga un vídeo y post sobre el tema para explicar 5 formas muy fáciles de aplicar el colorete y que podemos probar y decidir cual nos gusta más!
One of the most asked questions as a makeup artist is, How should I apply the blush to make it look good on me? so I think is time to do a video and post addressing this matter and show you 5 ways to apply the blush that you can try and choose which one you like the most!
Eso si son solo 5 formas! hay más formas y solo me voy a centrar en la zona y forma de aplicación más que en las texturas y en los colores.
Just 5 ways to apply the blush, where and how but not textures of colors.
He elegido un colorete rojizo rosado intenso para que podáis ver bien la diferencia y también he usado la brocha F5 de Sigma para ello, pero podéis usar la que más os guste sin duda!
I had chosen a red/pink blush so you can see better the final results and I used the F5 brush by Sigma, but you can use the blush brush of your choice.
1. Encima de las mejillas en la zona más externa del rostro.
1. On top of the cheek bones on the outer part.
Esta es mi aplicación favorita, centraremos el colorete en la zona alta y externa de las mejillas, dando de esta manera un toque de subida al rostro y a las mejillas, dando un toque más rejuvenecedor al rostro.
This is my favorite application, focus the blush on the upper and outer part of the cheek bones, giving the effect of lift to the cheeks and to the face, looking a bit younger.
2. En las manzanitas sin sonreír exageradamente.
2. On the apples of the cheeks smiling slightly.
Esta aplicación es lo contrario a la anterior, aplicaremos el colorete en las manzanitas que es la parte de la mejilla más cerca de la nariz, y lo haremos sonriendo ligeramente, si sonreímos demasiado lo que haremos es que cuando dejemos de sonreír parezca que está demasiado abajo el colorete, dando un aspecto raro.
This application is the opposite of the previous one, we will focus the blush on the apples of the cheeks, which is the area of the cheek next to the nose, and we will apply it while smiling ever so slightly cause if we smile to much and we apply the blush there once we stop smiling the blush area will go very low and will look very awkward.
3. A través de la mejilla en línea horizontal.
3. Across the cheek in horizontal line.
Esta forma de aplicar el colorete lo llevaremos a través de la mejilla, haciendo una línea horizontal difuminando bien, de esta manera haremos un rostro alargado que parezca más ancho y con volumen.
This application of the blush is going to be across the cheek in a horizontal line, blending very well, this technique will make wider a very thin long face, giving some volume.
4. En forma de arco en la mejilla y la sien.

Esta es una forma muy chula de aplicar el colorete porque da un toque super natural de que te haya dado el sol en el rostro, en forma de arco curvado aplicaremos el colorete en la parte externa superior de las mejillas y subiremos el colorete a la zona de la sien difuminando muy bien, una forma muy favorecedora.
This way to apply blush is so cool cause it looks like you have some Sun on your face, making an arch shape on the upper and outer part of the cheeks and going up to the temples blending very well will give this nice sun kissed effect very flattering.
5. En el centro del rostro en movimientos descendentes.
5. On the center of the face and downwards.
Esta forma de aplicación es muy natural y se parece a cuando nos sonrojamos, aplicaremos el colorete debajo de los ojos y ligeramente hacia la zona externa y bajaremos el difuminado hacia abajo.
This a very natural flush type of blush application, apply the blush underneath the eye and just a bit outwards and blend downwards.
