Hoy vamos a dedicar un post entero a las novias, y en especial a los consejos que les suelo dar cuando voy a maquillarlas y también un par de trucos para evitar problemas con los flashes ese día tan especial.
Today I am focusing the post on the brides, and in special tips that normally I give to those brides that I am doing their makeup that day to avoid problems with flashes and to have the perfect skin.
Lo primero ante todo es estar súper cómoda ese día, guapas y sentirnos nosotras mimas y sobre todo disfrutemos mucho de ese día tan especial.
The first thing is to be comfortable that day, pretty and feel ourself but most of all to be able to enjoy that special day.
Os quiero dar varios consejos que suelo dar a aquellas novias que voy a maquillar en tema de tratamientos, maquillaje y productos.
I want to give some tips that I always tell to all my brides about treatments, makeup and products.

Let´s began...
Lo primero que siempre siempre siempre aconsejo es que la novia se pase por un centro de belleza por lo menos 6 semanas antes de la boda para que podamos preparar la piel para ese día.
The first thing that I always always always suggest to every bride is to go to a beauty center al least 6 weeks before the wedding day to be able to prepare the skin for that day and have it as their best.
Muchas veces tenemos la piel deshidrata y no lo sabemos, nos gustaría uniformar el tono de la piel o darle un toque de luminosidad y rejuvenecimiento para estar perfecta ese día y lo mejor es darle tiempo a la piel y a los tratamientos a que funcionen por eso lo de empezar por lo menos 6 semanas antes del día de la boda.
So many times we have dehydrated our skin without knowing, or we want to unify our skin tone or give a nice touch of luminosity or a lift effect for that special day and we need to give time to our skin to make the treatment work for that I suggest to start at least 6 weeks before the wedding.
El día antes de la boda no aconsejo hacer nada demasiado dramático en el rostro, aconsejo un ligero exfoliante y una mascarilla hidratante o refrescante, según te vaya mejor.
The day before the wedding don´t do nothing to dramatic on your skin, just a light exoliation and a hydrating or refreshing mask as you prefer.
Y el día de la boda no te apliques nada que no hayas probado antes, si te apetece aplicarte una ampolla flash para un efecto más terso y luminoso en el rostro asegúrate de que has probado ya este producto con anterioridad para evitar alergias, reacciones o incomodidades.
And the day of the wedding don´t try nothing that you haven´t try it before, if you want to use a flash blister to tense your skin or to give an extra luminosity use it in advance, try it before that day so you are sure you avoid allergies, reactions or discomforts.
Ahora ya estamos preparadas en tema de piel, vamos a por el maquillaje...
Now we have the skin prepare and ready, so let´s start with the makeup...
Lo primero que aconsejo en tema de maquillaje es que no pruebes nada nuevo ese día tan especial que no hayas probado antes o con lo que no te encuentres totalmente cómoda.
The first thing I suggest in makeup wise is not to try nothing new that day, that could make you not feel comfortable, so always use a style you have wear before.
No hay nada peor que ese día tan importante te sientas incómoda por llevar unos labios rojos que nunca has llevado antes, unas pestañas postizas por primera vez o un maquillaje muy intenso cuando siempre vas muy natural, lo primero es ir guapa pero ir cómoda es igual de importante.
There is nothing more horrible that not feeling comfortable the day on your wedding cause you chosen a red lips for the first time to wear it that day or a very intense makeup when you are use to more soft natural makeup, yes the first thing is to be beautiful that day but as equal important is to feel comfortable.
Si quieres innovar en el maquillaje de ese día hazte por lo menos una prueba de maquillaje anteriormente para comprobar que te sientes cómoda, y aunque no pruebes nada nuevo las pruebas de maquillaje son muy recomendables sobre todo para saber exactamente como te vas a ver ese día y que el maquillaje sea una cosa menos de las que preocuparte ese día.
If you want to innovate with makeup that day try it before, to one of a few test runs before so you will feel good with it even if you are not doing nothing new you may consider do a test run so you are sure you know what are you getting that day so you have one thing less to worry that crazy day.
Tampoco te decidas a probar nuevos productos ese día porque una vez más no sabes como puede reaccionar tu piel o si te sentirás bien y normalmente ese día no se suele tener mucho tiempo para estar corrigiendo o rehaciendo un maquillaje.
Neither decide to try new products that day cause you don´t know how you skin will react or if you will feel good with it so that´s not the best day to try new products, stick with the products you have already tried and tolerated fine.

Lo primero y más importante evita los productos HD, porque? por que están creados para el vídeo HD no para los flashes y las partículas que hacen que dejen el rostro tan aterciopelado pueden reflejar la luz y provocar que tu cara se vea a parches blancos con el flash o incluso parezcas Casper.
Frist and more important of all avoid HD products, why? cause they have been designed for HD video not for flashes and those contain particles that makes your skin look flawless will make reflect the light and will provoke white patches around your face or even making look like a ghost.
Evita totalmente todos los productos con protección solar, las bases, correctores o incluso los primer con SPF provocan una vez más una reflexión de la luz que provocarán que tu cara se vea extremadamente blanca.
As the same avoid to use products that contain SPF, like foundation, concealer o even primers that will reflect the light and again provoke your skin to look pale or even like a ghost once again.
Aprovecha a usar productos resistentes al agua para evitar que se muevan o se corran, eso si, si optas por una base resistente al agua date cuenta que suelen tender a resecar y si de por si tienes la piel seca necesitaras una buena hidratación y primer de rostro para evitar que se hagan grietas.
Try to use waterproof products, foundations, eyeshadows, pencils, mascaras etc, that will prevent from running or loose them to quickly, but notice that a waterproof foundation tends to be quiet dry so if you have a dry skin already make sure you hydrate very well your skin first and you use a primer to prevent the scales effect.
Si tienes la piel grasa algunos trucos para controlar la piel ese día son, primero si has ido al centro de belleza te habrán realizado un tratamiento para controlar el exceso de sebo, sino pídelo porque te vendrá bien, el día antes de la boda aplícate una mascarilla de arcilla, eso reducirá la aparición de sebo y el día de la boda asegúrate de que aplicas una prebase de rostro para que fije mejor la base, y que la misma base sea para pieles grasas o con acabado matificante, al igual que los polvos sueltos o compactos. Ten en cuenta que puedes necesitar llevar un pequeño contenedor de estos polvos matificantes en el bolso o los famosos papelitos para absorber el sebo.
If you have a oily skin we you have some tips to do to get the best result that day, first if you have been in a beauty center you may be in a oily skin treatment to control the sebum of your skin, if not ask for that special treatment, it will be good for the finish result, the day after the wedding apply a clay mask to help to absorb all the extra oil and the day of the wedding apply a good face primer to make the foundation to stick, use a foundation for oily skin or mattifying effect as the compact or loose powder. Think that you may need to carry with you a small container with some of this powder or those little papers that helps to absorb the extra oil.
Tema brillos deseados, no te pases con los productos con purpurinas o demasiado irisados porque con tanto flash parecerás un árbol de Navidad, si te gusta algún iluminador más llamativo limítalo a usarlo en un punto específico como por ejemplo el lagrimal y usa un iluminador más ligero y más discreto para los puntos de luz de las mejillas o el arco de las cejas.
About shinny that we want, don´t go to far with the shine using a glitter o too intense shimmer products cause that will make your face to look like a Christmas tree, if you want to use a intense highlight focus that on my small area, like the tear dot area, and for the face highlighting use a more seattle product on the top of the cheek bones or on the arch of the brows.
Y por último los labios, no te lances a utilizar un labial intenso por primera vez este día porque no te sentiras cómoda, y si te lanzas porque te gusta y los sueles llevar puedes optar por uno permanente para no tener que estar retocándotelo cada rato, aunque piensa que estos permanente a veces también fallan, si prefieres olvidarte de los labios y centrarte en disfrutar opta por un lápiz de labios natural para toque de color o un labial y para toque de brillo un gloss suave que puedas llevar contigo para retocar.
And for last but not least the lips, don´t go for a dark lip if you are not use to that cause again it won´t let you feel comfortable, but if you are use to them you can opt for a permanent lip color so you won´t have to retouch it all the time, but think also that the permanent products they are not infallible either, but if you want to feel very comfortable and you don´t want to worry about retouch them try a nude tone using a lip pencil or lip stick and a soft touch of gloss of a seattle shine.
