Como y donde guardar los pinceles, una pregunta y duda que siempre surge cuando empezamos a aumentar nuestra colección de pinceles y no sabemos que hacer con ellos para conservarlos como el primer día.
How and where to store make-up brushes, the question and doubt always comes to mind every time we´ve got a new make-up brushes and we want them to be as the first day.
Contando que los pinceles y brochas de maquillajes es algo que tenemos que tener siempre limpios e higienizados, cosa de la que ya he hablado en el blog, os dejo el enlace de como limpiar los pinceles, tenemos que tener en cuenta que sino los guardamos bien los expondremos al polvo, suciedad, humedad etc y podemos estropearlos o reducir su vida drasticamente.
Knowing that all the brushes we own needs to be perfectly clean and sanitized, something I am not going to talk about cause I did a post already, here you have the how to clean brushes post, we have to think and how to store them from the dust, dirt, humidity etc and we can damage them and reduce the life drastically.
Yo estoy totalmente en contra de guardar y mantener los pinceles y brochas de esta manera:

En cubiletes, sujeta pinceles, jarrones u otro tipo de sujeción donde los pinceles estén expuestos al aire no creo que sea lo más recomendable, y ¿porqué? pués porque si los dejamos expuestos al aire cogerán polvo, bacterias, ácaros osea suciedad varia solo de estar ahí quietos y sentaditos.
In goblets, brush holders, vases or any type of object that will expuse the brushes to the air, and why? cause that way all the dust, bacterias, mites and other type of dirt will get to the bristles while they are sitting there calm and quiet.
Por eso mismo no me gusta nada este tipo de forma de guardarlos, si los cuidamos a la hora de lavarlos, de no dejarlos sucios después del uso e incluso usamos sujetadores para mantener la forma de las cerdas si los dejamos de esta manera perdemos todo lo bueno que hemos estado haciendo con ellos.
Because of that I don´t like this way to store them, after taking all the time to clean them, don´t leaving them dirty after using them or even having to dry on the brush shaper we will loose all that work we had put it on.
Para mi la mejor forma de guardar los pinceles es en su manta original.
For me the best way to hold them is in their original mat.
De esta manera no solo los tendrás organizados y podrás encontrarlos con facilidad sino que también con las solapas de algunas mantas protegeremos incluso más el que se llenen de polvo y suciedad.
This way we will have them organized, to find them easily and if the mat comes with a lid will protect them from the dirt and dust.
Otro consejo que os quiero dejar es a la hora de poner a secar los pinceles y brochas, como ya os he contado antes el poner un "sujetador" "holder" o malla a los pinceles hará que conserver la forma original de cada uno de ellos.
Other advice is for after washing the brushes, as I told you before, there are brushes holders, or brush shapers that will keep the original brush shape.
Estas "mallas" suene venir en una tira y podemos cortar según vamos necesitándolos. Es fácil de usar, barato y efectivo. Se puede dejar hasta que estén secos los pinceles o brochas pero yo los dejo puestos hasta que lo vaya a utilizar de esta manera de aseguro de que están totalmente perfectos.
A kind of net that comes in a roll and we can cut them and arrange them as we want. It´s very easy, cheep and effective to use. We can take it off after they are dry but I leave them on until I have to use them to have them even more perfect.
Otra opción en el mercado es el Dry´n Shape de Sigma, una manta donde se secan y se dan forma a las brochas y pinceles.
Another type of net or brush shaper that can be found on the market is the Dry´n Shape by Sigma, a mat where the brushes can get dry and get the original shape.
El único problema es que si tienes una gran colección de pinceles y brochas, como yo, necesitaríamos un montón de estas mantas o hacerlo por tandas y la verdad que si lavo los pinceles me los quiero quitar todos de una vez. Pero es una buena opción.
The only problem I found with this shaper is that I have a large collection of brushes and to get them all on I would have to get a tone of this mats or wash them in batches and if I wash the brushes I want to do it all at onces. But still a great option.
